A Missing Piece

Genesis 1:31 NASB "God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good."

This is the start of time as we know it for life on Earth. The very beginning to all you see today. At this point in time, God had yet to make me or you. One can think we were thoughts in His omnipresent mind, but He had no plans to place us among His earthly creations just yet.

Isn’t it a wonderfully magnificent thought? To think that the creator of all that exists and has yet to exist made you as well. When He looked across what He had created in those first days He wasn’t just looking at what was there, He was looking at what could and would be.

When I was quite little I used to imagine that the world was a jigsaw puzzle. God rearranged it and placed new pieces here and there. Each piece embodied something He had created. And next to the millions of stars, the great mountains of Earth, the beautifully singing birds- He thought that the puzzle could never be complete without you as well.

Once again, that truly is a wonderfully magnificent thought! The creator of all thought that each and every one of us were requirements to make His creation whole.

Without you the whole universe would be missing a piece. Without you an empty space lies open and barren. Without you all of creation is incomplete.
